Upon my research, I read of a species of creatures known as "The watchers". They are hinted of in The Watcher in the Woods by H.P. Lovecraft & The Necronomicon. They are a race of creatures said to live mainly in forests, & are very powerful. Could The Watchers & Slenderman be connected, & if so, does that mean that Slenderman is but one of many?
